Rafting tour black Canyon 4 days/3 nights

Four days rafting tour.

This exciting rafting tour is an expedition on one of the best rivers in the world. The Apurimac River which means in Quechua (talking god) is a river venerated by the Incas for their tremendous Rapids. It is also one of the rivers that in its passage form the Amazon river that is the most powerful river in the world and of greater length. We will depart from the city of Cusco that is at 3300 above sea level crossing the Andes for about 4 hours until arriving at the canyon of the river apurimac where on the way you will have a beautiful view of the same canyon and the Andes and where we will begin the expedition that is to About 2000 above sea level.

Route:

Day 1: (Cusco – Nahiua – Apurimac River)

From Cusco (3,400 above sea leve) at 8 am we will drive for 4 hours crossing the Andes and descending to the canyon of the Apurimac until we reach the village of Naihua on the banks of the Apurimac River at some (2,600 above sea level). It will take us about 2 hours to prepare all the equipment. We will receive a safety talk and instructions. After lunch we will begin the rafting class III and IV rapids for 2 hours until we reach our first camp where we will have our lunch prepared by the Guides and our dinner in the evening.

Day 2: Rapids III and IV

After waking up in the morning and taking our breakfast we will make a short hike with the guides where we will appreciate the vegetation of the apurimac like the (orchids). Then after our walk we will run the fast III and IV by names Submarino and Calambre, fast technical known by the rafting Guides. The quick Calambre can become a fast class V and before running a small portage. Then we will run fast class III until we reach the place where we will have lunch. After lunch we will continue racing class III fast in this granite rock canyon. Afterwards we will arrive at the beach where we will camp and where we will have our dinner.

Day 3: (Black Canion section)

Today our adventure begins early after a good breakfast. We will do rafting in some rapids class III and enjoy the most beautiful part of the canyon and calm waters. If we are lucky we will be able to observe some river otter, deer, foxes, ducks and tropical birds. Then lunch on a beach we will pass many suspended bridges. At night we will camp again where we will have our dinner.

Day 4: (Rapids, Hualpachaca – Cusco)

After breakfast we will start our last day in the river and passing fast class III and IV and others. La otra derecha and 3 condores are fast class IV with water falls. Then we will arrive to Hualpachaca where our transport will be waiting for us. We will undertake our return to Cusco for 5 hours on a private bus. Transfer to the hotel and end of our services
