On our tour we will do a combination of various attractions in Lima in three historical periods: (Pre Hispanic, colonial and contemporary). In Lima we have developed different pre-Columbian cultures dating back thousands of years old. It was part of the Inca Empire to its foundation by the Spanish Francisco Pizarro on January 18, 1535, as the capital of the Viceroyalty of new Castile for the Spanish Empire. During this guided tour we will make a journey through its millennial history.

Route:
After you have a good breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up from your hotel in Lima approximately at 9 am, where your guide will take you to your private transport.
ANCESTRAL LIMA. We will first visit the ruins of Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological enclosure built in the 4th century and will have a panoramic view of this magnificent ceremonial and administrative center, considered by the Incas as a place only for sacred people.
LIMA COLONIAL. Then visit the center of Lima where the Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital. In its historic center is the architecture and the urban layout of that period, old streets with colonial mansions of Moorish-style balconies. In the historical center you will appreciate: the courthouse, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor with panoramic view of the Government Palace, Cathedral of Lima, City Hall; We will enter the monumental convent of San Francisco, which constitutes the greatest display of colonial religious art in America. You can appreciate the Coral room and library of the monks, the sacristy, with its collection of paintings by Zurbarán and Rivera. The great courtyard of the cloister main, finely decorated with Sevillian tiles, its beautiful Moorish arches and the underground Crypts, known as the catacombs, where you will feel the presence of the colonial past.
CONTEMPORARY LIMA. Where will visit the current residential neighborhoods of lima:
San Isidro: Park of the olive grove, financial and residential area.
Miraflores: Miraflores central park, Parque del Amor, from where we will appreciate a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Larco Mar one of the most modern shopping centers in the city. That’s where we can have lunch in one of the good restaurants of the area of Miraflores and enjoy the delicious Peruvian food.
