Machu Picchu 2 days/1 night

Machu Picchu 2D/1N  is especially for those people who wish to visit one of the wonders of the world Machu Picchu without having to take large walks as we do in our Inca Trail Tour. On this tour we will take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes on the first day, which is the village closest to Machu Picchu. We will spend the afternoon there and the next day take a bus for an early trek to this wonderful Citadel of Machu Picchu. This tour is especially for those without a lot of time and of course want to know the beautiful mysteries of Machu Picchu. Remember that on this tour it is necessary to be in Cusco city a day before you plan to go see Machu Picchu.

Route:

 

Day 1:  We will pick you up from your hotel in the city of Cusco early in the morning (prior coordination according to the train schedule) and transport you with your guide to the train. Then we will board the train and begin the journey to the village of “Aguas Calientes” to reach (2000 m above sea level). Arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, we will go to your hotel which is reserved for you, where to leave your bags and you can enjoy the small town of Aguas Calientes. Lunch will included in a restaurant  in the town of Aguas Calientes. At night we will have our dinner all together  where our guide will provide you with necessary information for your tour of the next day.

Day 2:  Very early in the morning after breakfast we will go to the bus station, to climb 400 meters higher for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the incredible wonder world “the sanctuary of Machu Picchu”, known as “The lost city of the Incas” to reach the Citadel of Machu Picchu. We will pass through a ticket checkpoint, where we will deliver our revenue tickets and begin our guided tour lasting approximately 2 hours. Then you will be given free time to climb the HuaynaPicchu (if you have a reservation) or a stroll around the Citadel, afternoon bus will be returning to Aguas Calientes where we take you to our Hotel, to remove the bags, and arrive at the train station to return to the city of Cusco. Here we will be waiting for you at the station to transfer you to your hotel. On the way to Cusco we will provide you of lunch
