One day bike tour Sacred Valley Cusco

One day bike tour.

On this Tour we will gather in the city of Cusco early in the morning or we can pick you up from your hotel at 9 am. Then we leave the city in the direction of the Sacred Valley by the route of Chinchero Valley. Visit Chinchero approximately 28 km from the city of Cusco with an altitude of 3873 m above sea level. Chinchero belongs mostly to farming people in the Tawantinsuyo, here you will see women who are recognized by their costumes typical and Chincheros Church which is very famous. Then we will continue our tour to Moray have the view of the Andes with its Glaciers Chicón and Veronica. In Moray we will visit the Inca agriculture in a formation of terraces for the adaptation of plants. At a glance Moray seems an amphitheater. Then visit Maras that is approximately 7 km from moray. Maras in an efficient villa in model of a small city very famous for its salt mines, exploited since the time of the Incas by the Incas for the economy and is very interesting to see how the salt covers all mines.

Route:

After you breakfast in your hotel our bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel approximately at 8:30 am in a tourist bus, we ride the bus. We will go first to Chincheros where we will visit the famous Church of Chincheros, its market, its colonial structures in the city and typical accustoms. Then we will drive to the town of cruzpata in direction to Moray where we will start our road by bike. After taking pictures we will continue our tour to Moray where we take a break and can enjoy our boxed lunches, then our guide will explain all there is to know about Moray. Then we will continue with our bikes to Maras where you can see the famous salt mines, you will be always with your guide and your guide will give a explanation about Maras. After we take some photos of maras we will descend to Urubamba. The descent to Urubamba from Maras is a very technical way where it is recommended that only the experts in bikes do it, the others can walk because the descent is not so long. In Urubamba we will take a bus back to the city of Cusco arriving approximately at 5:00 pm.
