You can reach Puno through Julica airport which is 30 minutes from the city of Puno, or you can reach Puno by bus. You can choose. On this tour you will visit the south of Peru, where they still live in their unique customs. The south of Peru in this case will be the city Puno which is at about 3850 meters above sea level, the highest elevated lake in the world (Lake Titicaca). We will visit the floating islands of the Uros and Taquile Island where in both Islands natives live. If you want to make a reservation to visit the Amantani Island where you can stay and spend one or two nights with the families on this island with the service they offer to you.

Route:
Day 1: As we mentioned before, you can reach directly by plane at Julica airport where we will wait in a private vehicle and transport you to your hotel in the city of Puno in approximately 30 minutes. If you arrive by bus, we will pick you up at the Terminal Terrestrial of Puno and we will transport you to your hotel. Leaving your luggage we will have prepared a coca tea to minimize uncomforting reactions from the elevation that occur with some people. Then we get ready and will visit Sillustani an Archaeological site 34 km from Puno. Sillustani is an impressive cemetery that belonged to the Kolla-culture and these tombs of called Chullpas. After having a detailed lesson from your guide about this area we will return you to where you will be staying. Food are include depending of the arriving time.
Day 2: After breakfast we will prepare ourselves to visit the Uros and Taquile Islands. We will transport you to the shores of Lake Titicaca where we will take a boat the Uros Islands, which are floating islands made by a plant called reed and from this plants they make their own chips. Your guide will give detailed explanations of this island and then we will return to our boat and be headed to the island of Taquile. In Taquile you will make a walk to the main squere of this island. You will observe the inhabitants, that live with very old traditions and customs they continue to live out even today, and also have a beautiful views of the island and the surrounding Lake. Is in this island where we will have our lunch and then we will get back in our boat to Puno and head to our lodging. If you want to can coordinate and continue to Amantani Island and stay a night in a house of the natives. In our way to puno we will coordinated our dinner time.
Day 3: After breakfast we will take you back to Julica airport or the bus terminal in the city of Puno for your next tour in this wonderful country.
If you decide to stay one night in Amantani island, you have to know that every food there is making by the native people and is include in the tour. The next day a boat will wait for you to bring you back to Puno city in the morning.
