Tour south valley Cusco.

On this tour you will come to know the valley south of Cusco, where we visit the archeological site of Tipon, that used to be the royal garden for the Incan people. Also visit Pikillaqta which is pre Inca architecture and Wari culture and then Andahuaylillas, which is a small town but within the village we will visit the Church of Andahuaylillas. At this church we will appreciate its beautiful structure, paintings and altars of gold. This tour is combined to make stops and take photos of Huacarpay Lake and its birds in our private transport.

Route:

After you take a good breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 9:00 am and begin our trip to the valley south of Cusco along with a professional bilingual guide in our private transport. We head to Tipon first, 24 km from the city of Cusco. Tipon was a Royal Garden commissioned by Wiracocha where iconographic examples of agriculture, overhanging intact despite its age and location. We will take photos along with recieving detailed explanations from our guide. Then returning to our bus we head for Pikillaqta which is one site pre Inka of the Wari culture where we will appreciate the urban development that was embraced in those times. Also it is believed that this site was modern up to the time of the Incas. Then returning to our bus we will go to the Lake of Huacarpay where you can take photos of the lake and appreciate many kinds of birds in this environment. We will have our box lunch on the shores of the Lake. Then get on our transport to Andahuaylillas where you can see in the Centre of the village, old mansions with great trees. Pisonay and we will visit the Church of San Pedro where also will appreciate paintings, murals, baroque altars of carved wood and paintings of the old Cusqueñan School of painting. Ask plenty of questions from your professional bilingual guide and have the information you want. Later in the afternoon return to Cusco city and we will drop you at your hotel.
